The 6th edition of the Africa International Sports Convention (CISA) will be held in Bamako, capital city of Mali (West Africa) from 1st – 3rd of March 2012, following the highly successful 5th edition held in Marrakech, Morocco in March 2011.

CISA 2012 will be hosted by the National Sports and Olympic Committee of Mali which President Habib Sissoko. "It is great honour for our NOC and our country to welcome CISA delegates in March 2012 and we hope to hist the best edition of CISA. Our history and culture go back thousands of years and we have a lot to see and discover. The whole sports family and all parts of government support the support the hosting of such an important event and we look forward to warmly welcome all

delegates and guests as CISA is a great initiative for Africa!

Like for the previous editions, the 6th edition of the Africa International Sports Convention enjoys the support of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA). CISA organizers expect the participation records to be broken with 350 to 400 delegates expected in Bamako. Said Diamil Faye, JAPPO President and CISA initiator: "We are happy to announce that CISA 2012 will be organized alongside with 3 other major international events like 2012 Africa Judo Championships and two other that will be announced soon. By doing that, we want to grow the networking opportunities offered by CISA and reach out to new sports groups and participants"

The Africa International Sports Convention (CISA) is a unique event in Africa that provides opportunities to meet and share experiences. It offers hence strong networking opportunities through the 3 days of the Convention with an Exhibition, a conference and the Gala dinner that celebrates the

inductions to the Africa Sports Hall of Fame.

CISA 2012 venue is the 5 stars LAICO l'Amitié Hotel located in the heart of Bamako, near to a number of attractions: market, the Craftsmen House and the National Museum of Mali. Contemporary in style, the hotel offers restaurants, bars and a nightclub for CISA delegates plus a fitness center, tennis courts and outdoor pool.
